A joint business forum via video-conference in “B2B” format with participation of the representatives of “Turkmen Logistics” Association, The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and “Caspian Energy Club” company have been carried out today, on the 22nd of April, 2021. The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan provided organizational support for online meeting to be carried out. A preliminary agreement on carrying out a business forum aimed at sharing information on the activities and capabilities of leading companies of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan was reached in early April, as part of the first presentation meeting between the representatives of The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and “Caspian Energy Club” company.
Representatives of the diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan addressed the participants of the business forum with a welcoming speech. Telman Aliyev – the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of “Caspian Energy Club” company came forward as the moderator of the meeting.
In the first part of the business forum, representatives of Baku International Sea Trade Port, “LV Shipping & Transport” company, “Turkmen Logistics” Association, “North West Construction” and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan made presentations on the activities of their companies, their interests and opportunities for developing cooperation.
There has been a good exchange of questions and proposals on bilateral cooperation in the field of transport and logistics in the second part of the meeting. Representatives from Azerbaijan were mainly interested in issues related to the conditions of participation in tenders, doing business, opening representative offices of foreign companies in Turkmenistan. The General Director of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics company Kamran Khabibov noted interest in the development of cooperation with the “Turkmen Logistics” Association.In the opinion of the Chairman and Chief executive officer of “Caspian Energy Club” company Telman Aliyev, mutual business tours to specific enterprises can become an effective opportunity for building more close cooperation.
This, the business forum served as a platform for a constructive and interested dialogue on the issues of searching mutual interests between business communities of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan as well as strengthening cooperation between countries.
