In order to successfully solve the tasks outlined in the “Program of Transport Diplomacy Development of the President of Turkmenistan for 2022-2025”, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Institute of Engineering – Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan have drawn up a Joint Plan of Comprehensive Measures for 2022. With the involvement of the representatives of public and private sectors of the transport segment of the country this Plan includes an optional course of online lectures and practical exercises for students, carrying out round tables and meetings, seminars and webinars with transport sector specialists, organizing competition of scientific student works and other events.
The Esteemed President of Turkmenistan kindly notes that the youth should make every effort, knowledge, skills and abilities to ensure the rapid development and further increasing the prestige of our beloved Motherland around the world. The Leader of the Nation in his speech on September the 1st, 2021, at a meeting with students and scholars, gave young people the following edification: “to always strive to receive deep and comprehensive knowledge and improve their minds. The most valuable heritage is upbringing and education and science are the core of upbringing. Therefore, in our country, we create all conditions for young people to gain knowledge and learn specialties. I believe, that the duty of our happy youth is the willingness to study hard, learn specialties, create and raise the glory of our native Motherland”.
The main idea of the optional course and other events is to give future specialists in-depth knowledge on a wide range of issues related to the transport policy and the diplomacy of the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as the potential of the transport system of our country, the significance, features and prospects for the use of transport and transit corridors by Turkmenistan in order to ensure sustainable trade and economic relations at the regional and continental levels.
The new and successful format for training future highly qualified specialists is attracting specialists from among the employees of transport and logistics companies. The practical experience of specialists in the transport sector will help students in developing those skills and scope of duties that are necessary for work in the transport and logistics industry of the country.
In accordance with the Plan of Comprehensive Measures adopted for this year, the events will be held from February to December. The first event was held recently at the Institute of Engineering – Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan with the participation of the national “Turkmen Logistics” Association.
