As part of the working visit, the delegation of Turkmenistan, which included representatives of transport agencies that are part of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, and private transport companies-members of the Association “Turkmen Logistics”, visited the port special economic zone on August 25, where a logistics center of Turkmenistan will be created in order to improve the efficiency of cargo transportation along the North-South transport and transit corridor.
On the same day, the Turkmen delegation made an introductory tour to the Olya Commercial Sea Port, visited “Flotproekt” Design Bureau and PF “VTS-Port”.
On the eve, there was acquaintance with the training of personnel at the Caspian Institute of Sea and River Transport named after. Admiral General F.M. Apraksin and the first workshop on cooperation issues in the field of logistics, transport, trade and shipbuilding.
During the study tours, colleagues exchanged experience and discussed priority areas of cooperation.
