A lecture on the theme “Effective use of the transit capabilities of Turkmenistan, the importance of implementing international practice on eliminating obstacles in transit and simplification and improvement of customs procedures” was organized at the Education Centre on the Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, with the attendance of a specialist of “Turkmen Logistics” Association. The event was held on the framework of joint plan of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the “Turkmen Logistics” Association for the implementation of the “Program for the Development of Transport Diplomacy of the President of Turkmenistan for 2022-2025” and with participation of students of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance.
During the lesson, the growing transport and transit potential of Turkmenistan and the role of our country in such significant transport projects of the Eurasian region as the North-South, TRACECA, ” Lapis Lazuli Corridor”, Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Oman-Qatar, the Caspian Sea-Black Sea were noted. The students were also introduced with the activities of the Association and the logistics services, provided by the member enterprises of the Association. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions on the topic of the lecture and on cargo transportation in general.
