With the invitation of State customs service of Turkmenistan, members of “Turkmen Logistics” Association – JSC “Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan”, IE “Beýik ýüpek ýoly”, IE “Mermer kenar”, ES “Dury gözli türkmen laçyny”, IE “Takyk topar”, IE “Nurly Günbatar” participated at interdepartmental conference, held at the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port on 10th of May.
Also, representatives of the subordinate bodies of the State customs service, agencies “Turkmenavtoulaglary”, “Turkmendenizderyayollary”, “Turkmendemiryollary”, veterinary and quarantine services of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection took part at the event.
At the conference, representatives of the State customs service introduced the participants of the meeting with the methods of using economic customs rules, the new amendments and additions to the Customs Code of Turkmenistan, as well as the role of information technologies in improving the potential of transport and transit corridors.
During the event, transport and logistics enterprises were given the opportunity to exchange views and proposals with government agencies on further improvement of customs transit procedures and brokerage services.
