The online meeting of the Working Group on container transportation of the CCTT

At the invitation of the Secretary General of the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT), Mr. G.I. Bessonov, representatives of the “Turkmen Logistics” Association and its members took part at the online meeting of the Working Group on container transportation of the CCTT. 

The event was devoted to the discussion of the factors hindering the development of container transportation in international traffic and was held with the participation of a wide range of relevant government departments and large transport enterprises of the Russian Federation, China, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, Japan, Hungary.

The representative of the “Turkmen Logistics” Association in his speech noted the growing role of Turkmenistan in international transport corridors, and also emphasized the increase in the cargo traffic along the eastern branch of the transport route of the international transport corridor “North-South”. Also, the participants of the meeting were introduced to the capacity of the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashi and all the favorable conditions created in our country for multimodal container transportation.

Also at the meeting, representatives of ES “Arassa Express” and ES “Amatly Yollar”, the members of the Association, offered the participants wide range of logistics solutions, provided by their companies. Gaining many years of experience, these domestic enterprises have earned the trust of large Turkmen and foreign companies, thanks to the high quality of service and individual approach to each client. The International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT) is a significant international partner of the “Turkmen Logistics” Association. Cooperation between organizations was established by a Memorandum of Understanding signed in February 2023, following a bilateral meeting held in the framework of the Turkmen-Russian business forum, in 19-20th of January in Ashgabat.
