Turkmenistan and India intend to expand business partnership

On June 15, a videoconference was held between the business circles of Turkmenistan and India. The event was jointly organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Embassy of India in Turkmenistan.
The audience was addressed by the Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of India in Turkmenistan, Ms. Kanishka Singh, and the Head of the Department for Work with Members and International Cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, Ms. Maral Sarygulova addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
High representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the textile complex of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the National Association “Turkmen Logistics” took part in the discussion of issues of expanding the strategic partnership from the Turkmen side. India’s business circles were represented by the President of the Agri-Food Chamber of Commerce, the Chairman of the Export Promotion Center and the Vice Chairman of the Indian Export Promotion Center.
The meeting of the business circles of Turkmenistan and India was held in the context of the high-level agreements that were reached during the state visit of the President of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan in early April 2022.
