Transport Diplomacy has completed.

At present, Transport Diplomacy is one of the main directions of the Concept of Foreign Policy of Turkmenistan for 2017-2023. At the Training Center on Important Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan, established at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on the initiative of our highly esteemed President, training sessions are successfully held in accordance with the specially approved curriculum.
At the center, in accordance with the approved curriculum, training sessions have been held at high level from March 4 to June 15, 2021, with participation of representatives of  the Turkmen Logistics Association on the themes such as the importance of Afghanistan-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey transport corridor, possibilities of establishing a direct link between Turkmenbashi  International Sea Port and Azerbaijan’s Baku, Kazakhstan’s Aktau and Kuruk and the Russian Federation’s Olya International Sea Port located in Astrakhan,  significance of the four-sided Intergovernmental Agreement on the Implementation of the International transport corridor Caspian Sea – Black Sea, including importance of Ashgabat Agreement on creation of Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Oman-Qatar transit corridor, prospects of making full use of the railway and motor bridges across the Amudarya, transport and transit opportunities of landlocked developing countries and international initiatives of Turkmenistan in this regard, opportunities of international railways in the direction of Kerki-Imamnazar-Akina-Andhoy and Turgundy-Hyrat. Special Certificates were awarded to the participants of the training sessions on “Transport Diplomacy”. Students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan took an active part in these sessions. The courses for the students were very effective.
