On June 1, 2022, an online meeting was held between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the State of Qatar. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the National Association “Turkmen Logistics”, as well as businessmen who produce and export various consumer goods.
Speaking with welcoming words, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan Dovletgeldi Rejepov and the First Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the State of Qatar Mohammad Bin Ahmad Al-Kuwari noted the importance of this meeting in the context of growing strategic partnership between the states. Introductory presentations were made on the achievements and trade potential of both parties, the use of which may arise mutual interest, as well as opportunities for cooperation in the export of agro-industrial, agricultural products and confectionery. Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of the transport and logistics potential of Turkmenistan.
Concluding the videoconference, the parties expressed their deep gratitude for organizing this meeting and interest in developing further economic cooperation between friendly states.
